We are pleased to announce the return of Smarter Seafood awards to celebrate the players of the fishing, food processing and restaurant industries. The award ceremony will take place at the gourmet dinner of the Smarter Seafood Expo. These distinctions aim to showcase a sector and career paths that for too long have been in the shadows.
Whether you work hard on board a boat rain or shine, in a food processing plant, or in the kitchen of a restaurant or other eating establishment, we’re interested in hearing your story.
Because you should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished, we encourage you to apply. We’re calling on individuals from across Quebec to share the project, achievement or specific actions that make them stand out.Applications may be submitted under one of the following three categories:
- Capture and aquaculture;
- Wholesale and retail processing;
- New market development.
